The Francisco Suárez Center for Advanced Studies in Law (CEAD) is publishing the Studies in Comparative Portuguese Law Vol. II, from 2021. The work is coordinated by Professor Doutor Alberto de Sá e Mello. With a common language, Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, São Tomé and Príncipe, Angola, Mozambique, Macau and East Timor also have many affinities in their Rights. Such is the object of the present publication, which follows on from the first volume published in 2019, in which relevant sectoral aspects of the various legal systems of Lusophone countries and territories are considered comparatively. With this work, CEAD hopes to contribute to an indispensable and future dialogue of jurists, theoreticians and practitioners, who communicate through the same language and feel committed to the achievement of the great values of the Rule of Law.
