Holds a degree in Law and a PhD in Political Science, Citizenship and International Relations from the Lusófona University of Porto. He is the Director of the 2nd Cycle of Studies in International Relations at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the Lusófona University - Porto University Center. Among his published works, he is the author of "Coabitação política na vigência da Constituição de 1976" and Coordinator of the "Dicionário de Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais".
