The Manual of Labour Procedural Law of Cape Verde – in the light of Portuguese law, authored by Professor Doctor José Gonçalves Machado, Associate Researcher at CEAD, is available for sale.
This work was prepared in the context of the curricular unit “Labour Litigation” of the Master’s Degree in Labour Law and Public Administration offered by the Lusófona University of Cape Verde, in partnership with the Faculty of Law of the Lusófona University – Lisbon University Centre. It also forms part of the activity plan of the TRABJUS Study Group, belonging to CEAD – Francisco Suárez.
As a result of the research carried out, in addition to its fundamental theoretical orientation, the book proposes certain solutions to pressing practical problems. Structured in four parts, the work combines the principles and foundations of civil procedure with Cape Verdean labour procedure, from a comparative perspective with Portuguese law.
