CEAD Francisco Suárez is pleased to promote the Opening Session of the Short Course in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law (Judicial), marking the beginning of a training initiative aimed at deepening legal knowledge and fostering dialogue between academia and judicial practice.
The session will take place on April 16, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, in Room B 1.1, Building 3 of the Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário do Porto, serving as a meeting point for students, legal professionals, and all those interested in the field of Criminal Law.
The event will feature the presence of distinguished figures from the national legal landscape, namely:
- The President of CEAD/FDCP, José de Faria Costa, Full Professor of renowned academic prestige;
- The President of the Court of Appeal of Porto (TRP), José Igreja Matos, Judge with a distinguished career in the judiciary;
The Course Coordinators will also be present:
- João Pedro Cardoso, Judge;
- José Quaresma, Judge;
- Inês Fernandes Godinho, Full Professor.
This opening session represents a valuable opportunity to learn about the course’s objectives and structure, as well as to reflect on contemporary challenges in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law (Judicial).
