As part of its strategy for digital modernization, capacity building, and continuous enhancement of resources supporting scientific research, the Francisco Suárez Center for Advanced Studies in Law (CEAD-FS), in coordination with the Victor de Sá Library, announces that institutional access to two of the world's most prestigious and comprehensive legal knowledge platforms—HeinOnline and Cambridge Core—is now fully operational.
This major acquisition is the result of the implementation of the EQUIPAR+2 project (Ref. UID/PRR2/06331/2025), funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP/PRR) and the European Union through NextGenerationEU. It represents a structural measure that directly addresses the strategic objectives set by CEAD-FS for the 2025–2029 cycle.
Access Mode

- On-Campus Access: Directly via the institutional Wi-Fi / IP network (eduroam) across the campuses of Centro Universitário de Lisboa (CUL), Centro Universitário do Porto (CUP), and Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT)
- Remote Access (Off-Campus): Available via a secure connection through EduVPN using Universidade Lusófona institutional credentials, ensuring full mobility and flexibility for research work.

HeinOnline: HeinOnline is an essential tool for comparative, historical, and international legal research. It integrates more than 41 thematic databases and provides full-text access to millions of pages (in searchable PDF format) of serial publications, transnational legislation, treaties, case law, and classic legal texts from the 16th to the 21st century.

Cambridge Core (Cambridge University Press): Provides access to a collection of high-impact, peer-reviewed academic journals (Scopus / Web of Science Q1/Q2) and academic monographs in areas such as European Law, International Law, Commercial Law, Philosophy of Law, and Interdisciplinary Studies.
