Suhayla de Castro
Suhayla Khalil Viana de Castro is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Lusófona University. She holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of São Paulo, a Master’s degree in Public and European International Law from the University of Coimbra, a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the Department of Political Science of the Fluminense Federal University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). During her doctoral studies, she undertook an exchange programme at Sciences Po Paris and was a Visiting Researcher at the University Institute of Development and Cooperation (IUDC) of the Complutense University of Madrid. Her academic career also includes teaching and research activities in both Brazil and Portugal. She has also worked as a consultant for international organizations and non-governmental organizations in several countries. Her academic work encompasses the fields of International Relations, Political Science, and Law. She has published scientific articles and served as a peer reviewer for leading academic journals in Latin America and Europe.
