Maria do Rosário Anjos
Maria do Rosário Anjos is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Lusófona University – Porto University Center. She is also the Vice-Director of the 2nd Cycle of Studies in Law at the same university. Her academic titles include a Ph.D. in Special Public Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of A Coruña, Spain (12/12/2011), with the title registered at the University of Porto in February 2012. She holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Minho - School of Economics and Management (July 1998), a Postgraduate degree in European Studies from the Portuguese Catholic University - Porto Center (July 1991), and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University - Porto Center (July 1989).
In terms of professional activities, she has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Lusófona University of Porto (2019-2020) and the Vice-Director of the 2nd Cycle of Studies in Law at ULP (since 2020). She served as the Coordinator of the 2nd Cycle of Studies in Solicitorship at IPMAIA (2014-2019) and was the President of the Technical-Scientific Council of IPMAIA – Polytechnic Institute of Maia (February 2018 to February 2019). She has been an Investigator at the Portucalense Institute for Legal Research (IJP) in the area of Capital, Labor, Tax, and Trade. Additionally, she has been a member of the Action Cost Committee "Stops&Search" representing Portugal and an Investigator at the Research Group on Global Public Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of A Coruña, Spain (since 2016).
In her professional legal career, she has worked as a lawyer specializing in Administrative, Fiscal, and European Law since 1991. She has been a trainer at the Center for Internship of the Bar Association, focusing on Procedural Tax Practices and Procedural Administrative Practices since 2011. Furthermore, she has served as an arbitrator at the CAAD - Center for Administrative Arbitration in Administrative and Tax matters in Lisbon since 2011, at the CAL – Center for Arbitration and Litigation of the Bar Association in Lisbon since 2013, and at the CNA - National Center for Arbitration and Public Works, operating with AICOPN - National Association of Construction and Public Works since 2018. Maria do Rosário Anjos is a member of the Portuguese Fiscal Association and the International Tax Association. She has authored and edited publications, including "Ed. ISMAI (2016) 876 pág."
