Hugo Cunha Lança holds a Ph.D. in Law and is an Invited Assistant Professor at the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Higher Institute. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Beja. Born in Beja on February 22, 1975, he chose to reside in the city. Proudly a simple boy from the province, he lived in Lisbon to obtain his law degree and later frequently returned to become a master at the Catholic University of Lisbon. Subsequently, he regularly traveled to Porto, where he earned his doctorate with a dissertation on the regulation of internet content, emphasizing the imperative to protect children. Currently, he divides his life between Alentejo and the Algarve. As a columnist and commentator in regional media, he maintained a blog for many years. He has published articles on Commercial and Industrial Law, the relationship between Law and the internet, and in recent years, has focused his research on Family Law. Concurrently, he organizes conferences, presents at seminars and congresses, and writes prose, recently publishing his first novel.
