Fábio da Silva Veiga is an Assistant Professor of Business Law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Lusófona University – Porto University Center. He was a Doctoral Professor of Business Law at the University of Almería, Spain (2020), having been approved through a public competition (PSI). He held the position of "venia docenti" professor at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain (2019). He was a professor in the master's programme in Advocacy at the European University of Madrid (2016/17/18). He earned his Ph.D. in Business Law from the University of Vigo (2017) with the highest distinction and an Extraordinary Doctoral Thesis Award. He conducted post-doctoral research at the School of Law of the University of Minho (2019). He won, through a competition, the DPE Scholarship from the CAPES Foundation of the Ministry of Education of Brazil (2014-2018). He is the president of the Ibero-American Institute of Legal Studies - IBEROJUR.
