Seminar - TRABJUS - Sustainability and Social Justice

17 de setembro de 2025

The Seminar — TRABJUS – Sustainability and Social Justice — took place on September 17, in Room N.1.10.

The research project TrabJus – Sustainability and Social Justice, promoted by CEAD, aims to foster critical interdisciplinary reflection on the major challenges shaping the present and future of Labour Law, Occupational Health and Safety, and Social Security Law. The right to social protection, the role of social and financial innovation, the guarantee of gender equality, and the new forms of work organization are central issues in the reflection on sustainability and social justice.

In this context, this international seminar brought together foreign visiting researchers affiliated with CEAD, who shared insights from their studies on topics that promote dignity at work and sustainable solutions to economic and social challenges. The event served as an opportunity to strengthen the dialogue between research conducted in Portugal and in various other countries, valuing diverse perspectives in building solutions within the fields of Labour Law and Social Security.

The seminar was aimed at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as researchers interested in the discussion of Social Justice issues.
