School-Family-Community seminar: the essential triangle of prevention

Prevention is a fundamental axis of contemporary societies, covering several dimensions and especially leveraging on education. For several years, the partner entities have promoted an annual seminar on public policies for prevention, seeking to produce knowledge in order to define measures that may contain some deviant behaviours, such as drug consumption and addiction, alcoholism, juvenile delinquency, school dropout and failure. In 2022, we will discuss the essential triangle of prevention, based on School, Family and Community.

As always, a wide partnership involving the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies, the Intervention Service on Addictive Behaviours and Addictions (SICAD), the Commission for the Dissuasion of Drug Addiction (CDT), the National Commission for the Promotion of the Rights and Protection of Children and Young People (CNPDPCJ), Odivelas City Hall, the Judicial Court of Lisbon, PADEMA – Platform for the Development of African Women, the Centre for Advanced Studies in Law (CEAD) of the Faculty of Law of the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies, the Alumni Network of the Lusófona University (RAAUL), PSIJUS – Association for Juspsychological Intervention, Crescer IPSS and the Association for Reflection and Action in Lisbon – Eng.
