Permanent Seminar on Current Legal Issues - BUPi: New Developments and Challenges – From the New Map to Title Registration
5th of june 2026

The Permanent Seminar on Current Legal Issues is a monthly event organized by the Second Cycle of Studies in Law (Master’s Programmes) of FDCP. Its purpose is to engage both the target audience of these programmes and other relevant audiences with the wide range of problems, issues, and controversies that characterize the contemporary legal landscape.
In this context, we invite the entire academic and professional community to participate in another session of the Permanent Seminar “Current Legal Issues”, dedicated to the topic “BUPi: New Developments and Challenges – From the New Map to Title Registration.”
The session will feature Eugénia Amaral, Coordinator of the Mission Structure for the Expansion of the Simplified Cadastral Information System (eBUPi). She holds a Law degree and a Master’s degree in Law and is currently pursuing a PhD in Law at the University of Coimbra. She is also a Land Registry Officer and a higher education lecturer. Her academic and professional experience provides a unique perspective on the latest developments in BUPi, the challenges associated with its implementation, and the impact of new solutions in the fields of cadastral registration and property title regularization.
