CEAD Francisco Suárez invites the entire academic community and all interested parties to the Open Lecture "The Protection of Maritime Workers against Exploitation and Forced Labour", which will take place on November 25, at 6:30 PM, at Universidade Lusófona – CUP (Rua Alexandre Herculano, New Campus), Room C1.1.
The session will feature a special presentation by Patrícia Machado, Legal Consultant in Maritime Law and Human Rights, who will address the main challenges faced by workers in the maritime sector, analyzing national and international legal mechanisms for preventing labour exploitation and forced work at sea.
For those unable to attend in person, the lecture will also be streamed online via the Microsoft Teams platform.
