CEAD invites the entire academic community to the Open Lecture entitled “Peritos y falso testimonio. Una reflexión sobre su función institucional en el proceso penal”, which will take place on November 20, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in Room C1.1.
The session will feature Prof. Nuria Pastor, Associate Professor of Criminal Law at the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), a renowned specialist in Criminal and Procedural Law.
In this lecture, the speaker will discuss the institutional role of experts in criminal proceedings and the legal and ethical challenges associated with false testimony, offering a critical reflection on the credibility, responsibility, and limits of expert evidence within the judicial system.
