CEAD Francisco Suárez will host an Open Lecture on Legal Issues Related to Climate Change on 23 February 2026, at 4:30 p.m., in Room B 1.1 of the Faculty of Law and Political Science.

The session will feature Professor Cláudia Nunes, a faculty member at the Federal University of Amazonas and a researcher at the Complutense University of Madrid, recognized for her work in environmental law and climate change, with a particular focus on the legal challenges posed by the global climate crisis.

This Open Lecture aims to foster reflection and debate on the role of law in addressing climate change, examining legal frameworks, responsibilities, and the current challenges faced by states and the international community.
