On May 5, 2026, CEAD Francisco Suárez will host an Open Lecture on a topic of growing importance in today’s legal landscape: “Digital Criminal Evidence.”
The session will take place in Room N.1.10 at 1:00 PM and will feature Manuel Aires Magriço, Public Prosecutor, who will share his experience and insights on the challenges that digital transformation poses to criminal law and the production of evidence.
At a time when technology is reshaping how crimes are committed and investigated, digital evidence plays a central role in judicial proceedings. This open lecture aims to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the legal, technical, and practical issues related to the collection, preservation, and evaluation of evidence in a digital environment.
The initiative is aimed at students, researchers, and legal professionals, as well as anyone interested in better understanding the impact of digitalization on criminal justice.
Participation is free and offers an excellent opportunity to deepen knowledge and engage in discussion on a highly relevant topic with an expert in the field.
