CEAD Francisco Suárez is hosting an Open Lecture entitled “Appeals in Civil Procedure” on 8 april 2026 at 5:00 p.m., in Room C-1.1.
The session will feature Rui Ataíde Araújo, Judge of the Court of Appeal at the Tribunal da Relação do Porto, whose experience and in-depth knowledge of judicial practice will provide a rigorous and up-to-date analysis of the system of appeals within civil procedure.
This Open Lecture offers a valuable opportunity for students, academics, and legal professionals to deepen their understanding of the foundations, requirements, and main problematic issues associated with appeals, as well as to reflect on interpretative challenges and the practical application of procedural rules.
