Lecture - Social Dialogue

On the upcoming May 7th, at 6:00 PM (Portugal time) and 8:00 PM (Cape Verde time), a Lecture on Social Dialogue will take place, as part of the course unit Work in the Digital Age of the Master's Degree in Labor Law and Public Administration, a joint initiative by Universidade Lusófona of Lisbon and Universidade Lusófona of Cape Verde.

The event will feature three distinguished representatives from the main partner entities involved in fostering social dialogue in Portugal:

  • Dr. Carlos Alves, from UGT – General Union of Workers

  • Dr. Ana Vieira, from CCP – Confederation of Commerce and Services of Portugal

  • Dr. Luís Henriques, from CIP – Business Confederation of Portugal

This session aims to promote an in-depth reflection on the role of social dialogue in regulating labor relations and addressing the current challenges in the world of work, particularly in the context of digital transformation.
