CEAD Francisco Suárez organized the first seminar ("Genesis") as part of the The Life of Crime project, which took place on June 30 at Universidade Lusófona – Lisbon University Centre.
The seminar, part of a collaborative project between CEAD Francisco Suárez and the German universities of Mannheim, Heinrich Heine (Düsseldorf), Hamburg, and Bonn, aimed to establish a trilateral dialogue between Portugal, Germany, and Brazil on the General Part of the Criminal Codes.
In this context, several researchers from the participating institutions contributed with reflections on the principles, legality, and structure of the different criminal codes, with the goal of presenting the legal systems involved – Portuguese, German, and Brazilian.
