CEAD Francisco Suárez announces the International Seminar “Fraud as a Transnational and Multifaceted Crime”, which will take place on 27 February 2026, at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, Polo 3, Room C.1.1., starting at 11:00 a.m.
This International Seminar aims to promote an in-depth and multidisciplinary reflection on the crime of fraud, examining its multiple manifestations in the contemporary context, with particular emphasis on its transnational dimension, cybercrime, and the challenges it poses to national legal systems. The event will bring together nationally and internationally renowned academics and researchers, fostering scientific dialogue and the exchange of comparative perspectives.
The initiative is organised by Professor Alexandra Vilela, PhD, and Professor Bruno de Oliveira Moura, PhD, from the Universidade Lusófona, and is intended for students, lecturers, researchers, and professionals in the fields of Law and Criminal Sciences.
