
We invite the entire Academic and Scientific Community to attend the II International Congress - Domestic Violence and the Istanbul Convention.
This congress will be an event of academic and social relevance, aiming to promote debate and reflection on domestic violence and the application of the Istanbul Convention in both global and local contexts. The event will take place on March 5, 2025, at the José Araújo Auditorium, located in the Faculty of Law at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa.
The event will feature the participation of experts, academics, jurists, and professionals in the fields of human rights, public policy, and social assistance. Topics such as the legal, social, and educational measures provided for in the Istanbul Convention, as well as strategies for preventing and combating domestic violence, will be discussed.
With an interdisciplinary focus, the congress aims to foster dialogue among different sectors of society, reinforcing the commitment to gender equality and the protection of the fundamental rights of violence victims.
