CEAD Francisco Suárez is organizing the Conference “40 Years of Portugal’s European Integration – Multidisciplinary Perspectives”, a forum for reflection and debate dedicated to Portugal’s trajectory within the European project, four decades after its accession.
The conference will bring together perspectives from different fields of knowledge, fostering a critical and integrated analysis of the political, legal, economic, social, and cultural impacts of European integration, as well as the current and future challenges facing Portugal within the context of the European Union.
The event will take place on 11 February 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in Room C-1.1 (Polo 3) of the Faculty of Law and Political Science.
The initiative is aimed at students, faculty members, researchers, and the general public with an interest in European affairs, offering a valuable opportunity for academic and interdisciplinary dialogue on a fundamental milestone in contemporary Portuguese history.
