CEAD Francisco Suárez invites all interested participants to the Closing Session of the short course “The (new) regulation of data in the EU: the case of health”, which will take place on 15 April 2026, online, at 18:00.
The session will feature Andreia Oliveira, Policy Officer at DG SANTE, where she works on policies related to Artificial Intelligence in the health sector. A medical doctor by training and holder of a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Porto, she also has experience in space medicine and humanitarian action, bringing together an international career that bridges science, technology, and public policy.
This final session will provide an opportunity for reflection and discussion on the challenges and opportunities of the new European data regulation, with a particular focus on the health sector and the emerging role of artificial intelligence.
