Tiago Ferreira Morais
Tiago Ferreira Morais has been a practicing lawyer since 2007, registered with the Portuguese Bar Association. He is a partner at FMS – Sociedade de Advogados, S.P., R.L. and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Law at the Faculty of Law, Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa.
He has held significant roles, including:
- Member of the Board of Directors of major national companies,
- President of the General Assembly of large national corporations,
- Legal advisor to the Board of Directors of a public company in the aeronautics sector.
Academically, he holds:
- A Law degree from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa,
- A postgraduate qualification in Labor Law from the Faculty of Law, Universidade de Coimbra,
- A postgraduate qualification in Urban and Environmental Law from the Faculty of Law, Universidade de Lisboa.
As a professional trainer, Tiago represents national and municipal public entities in labor, administrative, civil, and regulatory litigation. He provides legal support, representation, and advice to foreign delegations with autonomous governmental representation, particularly to their governing bodies.
His expertise also extends to corporate restructuring and recovery, advising clients in special revitalization and insolvency proceedings, including representing and chairing creditors' committees. Additionally, he represents banking and insurance entities.
In the field of criminal law, Tiago handles cases related to economic crimes, such as tax offenses, social security violations, fraud, and breach of trust. He is also a contributor of legal articles to newspapers and magazines.
