Sílvia Garção Mangerona is a Political Scientist, Researcher, and University Professor since 1998. She holds a PhD in Political Science and International Relations: Security and Defense from the Institute for Political Studies at the Portuguese Catholic University. She has a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a specialization in State Sciences. She completed the Specialization Program of the Master’s in Law and Legal Science – specialization in Legal-Political Sciences at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. She is an Associate Researcher at the Research Center of the Institute for Political Studies at the Portuguese Catholic University. She completed a specialization in Journalism at CENJOR, interned at RDP Antena 1 in the political desk, and worked as a Communications Advisor. She is the author of the book “Subsidiarity: Political Doctrine and State Model”, published in 2021 by Principia. She is the author of the column “The Art of Politics” and collaborates as a political commentator in various media outlets.
