Pedro Costa Monteiro holds is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of Lusófona University in Lisbon. He holds a Ph.D. in Legal and Economic Sciences and serves as a Legal Advisor at the Tax and Customs Authority (AT) in the VAT Services Directorate, with the professional category of Tax Inspector, a position he has held since 2011. Additionally, he represents the AT in the European Council of the European Union - Working Group on Indirect Taxation. Pedro Costa Monteiro also serves as the AT representative in the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administration (IOTA) and is an internal trainer at AT in the field of Value Added Tax (VAT).
