He completed a PhD in Law, with a thesis in Social Security Procedural Law (with a comparative perspective), at the Faculty of Law of the University of A Coruña, Spain. He conducts his academic and research work in the fields of Social Security Law, Labour Procedure Law, and Labour Law.
