Luisa Magalhães
Graduated in Law from the Catholic University, holds a Master's degree in Legal-Forensic Sciences, and is a Specialist. She is now nearing completion of her Ph.D. in the field of civil procedural law. She has been a university professor since 1990, teaching civil procedural law and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Her teaching roles span undergraduate law courses, master's degree programs in law, postgraduate, and specialization courses. Over time, she has been a member of university boards and research centers. She serves as a trainer and examiner at the Training Center of the Porto Regional Council of the Portuguese Bar Association.
Additionally, she is a trainer in preparatory courses for admission exams to the judiciary training courses for judicial courts and administrative and tax courts at the CEJ - Center for Judicial Studies. She has also participated in several exam juries at this institution. Practicing as a lawyer since 1987, she runs her own law office and has maintained a permanent individual practice, with broad experience, particularly in the field of civil law. She is the author of several articles in the domain of civil law, both substantive and procedural, as well as alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Her curriculum includes numerous presentations at conferences in these areas.
