Jose Antonio Lopes Coelho He teaches Labor Law and Social Security, as well as Business Law. Additionally, he is responsible for the Postgraduate Program in Labor Law.
He obtained his bachelor's degree in Law from Lusófona University – Lisbon University Center and, as part of the Corporate Law Ph.D. program, defended his research work for a DEA (Diplôme d'Études Approfondies) on the topic of structural fragility of employment in Portugal. The research addressed the rise in unemployment and the necessity for companies to enhance their competitiveness, considering the evolution of Labor Law through systematization and flexibility. In 2014, he earned his Ph.D. in Labor Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Since completing his law degree, his pedagogical activities have been primarily carried out at Lusófona University - Lisbon University Center, Escola Superior de Saúde Ribeiro Sanches (ERISA), Instituto Superior de Humanidades e Tecnologias (ISHT), and currently at Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT).
