Henrique Miguel Taborda Varajidás holds a PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the Institute for Political Studies at the Catholic University of Portugal (graduated with distinction, GPA: 18/20, merit scholarship, Lisbon, Portugal, 2019); a Master's degree in Law with a specialization in International Business Law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Fribourg (GPA: 5.35/6, excellence scholarship, Fribourg, Switzerland, 2023); and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at NOVA University Lisbon (GPA: 17/20, highest final grade in his class, Lisbon, Portugal, 2008). He is currently an Assistant Professor in the scientific fields of Political Science, International Relations, and Security Studies at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Lusófona University – Porto University Centre. His main research interests include: modern political ideas; the theory and history of totalitarianism; and contemporary non-democratic regimes.
