Erika Tavares Amaral holds a PhD in Law, a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, a specialization in Public Law, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. She works as a Professor, Lecturer, and Columnist, participating in several national and international research groups. She is a Researcher at the Global Comparative Law: Governance, Innovation and Sustainability (GGINNS), where she develops studies focused on governance, innovation, and sustainability from a comparative perspective.

An attorney with a solid academic and professional background, she has experience in Environmental Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, Tax Law, and International Law. Her scientific output and practical work reflect an interdisciplinary approach, oriented toward the critical analysis of public policies, sustainability, regulation, and contemporary legal challenges.
