Dora Isabel Mendes Lopes Fonseca

Dora Isabel Mendes Lopes Fonseca is a Master's degree holder, a Ph.D. candidate in Law, and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law at Lusófona University. She is also a practicing lawyer, having graduated in Law, pursued postgraduate studies in Sports Law, and obtained a Master's degree in Legal and Forensic Sciences from the Faculty of Law at Lusófona University in Lisbon. From 2014 to the present, alongside her legal practice, she has been actively involved in teaching in the Law undergraduate program at the Faculty of Law of the University where she graduated. She teaches various courses, including Criminal Procedural Law, Fundamental Rights, Introduction to Law, Law of Successions, and Family Law.

In addition to undergraduate teaching, she is involved in postgraduate studies and instructs courses on topics such as Sports Criminality, the Portuguese Prison System, and Sports Criminal Law. Dora Isabel is an elected member of the Pedagogical Council of the Faculty of Law at Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies in Lisbon. She also represents Master's degree-holding professors on both the Pedagogical Council and another council at the university. Furthermore, she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Law at the Nova School of Law.
