Diana Viveiros Simas
Diana Viveiros de Simas holds a Master's degree in Law and is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law at Lusófona University in Lisbon, where she teaches the course in Private International Law. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Law at Lusófona University in 2011, receiving a merit diploma in the same year, and completing an extracurricular internship at the Public Prosecutor's Office.
She completed her Master's degree in Legal and Forensic Sciences in 2014 at the same institution, presenting a thesis titled "Cybercrime" under the guidance of Professor José Sousa Brito. Her professional career began in 2005 as a local radio announcer, hosting programs aimed at the younger audience. From 2011 to 2013, she worked at Banco Popular as the head of an external Litigation Management team in partnership with Montalvão Machado e Associados, a Law Firm. In the same year, she provided advisory services to the Lisbon Municipal Assembly. Since 2014, she has been working for the Arrow Global group as a legal analyst in the acquisition of real estate portfolios and NPLs (Non-Performing Loans). In this role, she also provides Executive and Insolvency Law training to lawyers within the group, and she has completed training in Excel Level II, Intermediate II, Market Leader provided by CapEduc, and Wall Street English, respectively.
She has been an Assistant Professor at Lusófona University since 2015, currently teaching Private International Law. Until 2018, she taught Family Law and Law of Successions. Since 2018, she has been participating in the Junior Achievement Portugal Program.
