Carolina de Freitas e Silva is a Doctor of Law and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of Lusófona University in Lisbon. She is a practicing lawyer registered with the Bar Association of Brazil and the Bar Association of Portugal. She completed professional internships in various public bodies within the Brazilian justice system, including the Labor Court, the Federal Court, and the Labor Public Prosecutor's Office. Both her academic and extracurricular paths converge towards scientific and professional dialogue between procedural law and substantive law. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Law, a Master's degree in Labor Law from the University of Coimbra, and a Ph.D. in Social Law from Nova University of Lisbon.
