We invite the entire scientific and academic community and anyone interested to take part in the conference entitled ‘Equality and non-discrimination in labour relations: current issues and challenges’.
The event will take place on November 18, 2024, in the Salão Nobre of the Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário do Porto, and will be attended by various national and foreign specialists in the field of Labour Law.
Rather than theoretically debating the current problems and challenges in labour relations, this event aims to go beyond the doors of academia and show how central the issue of equality and non-discrimination is in the workplace.
This conference aims to be a space for reflection and dialogue, where strategies and solutions will be discussed to promote a fairer and more equitable environment for all. We believe that knowledge should be accessible and inclusive and, to this end, the event will be attended by a Portuguese Sign Language interpreter, ensuring that the debate is open and understandable to all participants, without exception.
