Teresa Anjinho is a member of the Supervisory Committee of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF). She served as Deputy Ombudsperson of Portugal from 2017 to 2022 and held positions as a Member of Parliament (2011-2015) and Secretary of State for Justice in the 20th Constitutional Government of Portugal. She holds a law degree from the University of Coimbra and a master's degree in Human Rights and Democratization from the University of Padua. Her academic and professional life has been dedicated to the study, teaching, and advocacy of human rights, with a particular focus on the right to equality and non-discrimination. She is a board member of the citizen platform ‘Our Europe’ and an Ambassador for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Portugal, specifically for SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (2023-2026).
