Lígia Abreu

Lígia Carvalho Abreu holds a PhD in Law from the University of Geneva. Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law and Political Science at Lusofona University - Center of Oporto, and is a member of the research group in economic, intellectual property and sustainable development  of Integrated Universities Hélio Alonso (Rio de Janeiro).

She works as a legal consultant, having prepared various studies for public and private institutions as well as international organizations.

Areas of work/scientific production: Public and Private International Law, International Environmental Law, Constitutional Law and Fashion Law. She worked as a lawyer and legal assistant at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in the field of international environmental law.
