De Legibus is a biannual generalist law magazine. But it also assumes a transversal vocation. It also intends to publish articles in which Law intersects and dialogues with other areas of knowledge.
De Legibus – Law Journal was born as the journal of the Faculty of Law of the Lusófona University (Lisbon). It has grown as a scientific journal of national scope and distribution, in print, and now intends, in its re-edition under the CEAD seal, to reaffirm itself as an international journal.
International because in addition to having an editorial board made up of renowned academics of various nationalities and affiliated to higher education institutions of various countries, it will also publish articles by authors of various nationalities, in Portuguese, French, Spanish and English. In the scope of this internationalization and as a result of this diversity, it intends to welcome articles on national, foreign, comparative or international law.
De Legibus is also available in any country, through the on-line publication of free access through the link De Legibus

JURISMAT, ISMAT’s Legal Journal, has already known two distinct editions, since 2012, and is now in its third edition.
JURISMAT gathered, especially in its first edition, between 2012 and 2015 (eight issues published in three years), the publication of scientific articles authored by the greatest experts from all national law faculties, Portuguese and many foreigners (from Spain, Brazil, Morocco, Italy and Mexico). JURISMAT has also earned accreditation in an international catalogue (Latindex). It has fulfilled fifty of the fifty-five required criteria.
JURISMAT publishes, first and foremost, articles from ISMAT’s Law faculty. This is a requirement of the renewed course management and one of the fundamental missions of the Journal. In its first edition, it included a section dedicated to the publication of articles by law students, especially scrutinised by the Scientific Committee of the Journal, according to its own regulations. This editorial option was reedited in the third edition.
The Scientific Committee of the Journal was recently renewed. It brings together renowned specialists from Portuguese higher education faculties and courts and from leading foreign universities. They will ensure the blind peer-review, which will select the articles to be published.
